SmartBiz Expo 2017 is an enhanced event, merging World SME Expo and InnoDesignTech Expo (IDTE) together, to provide a one-stop platform tailored for enterprises in the region, to capture the latest business trends and to acquire creative ideas, innovative solutions and technologies for business transformation and upgrading.
Startups, being the driving force of innovation and creativity, would be an important integral part of the Expo. Therefore, on top of the strategic exhibition zones featuring latest technologies and innovative business solutions, we are setting up a prominent startup zone in the Expo to promote outstanding startups from Hong Kong, Chinese mainland and overseas.
A series of networking and pitching events would also be organised to connect startups with their potential investors, business partners and customers. As a highlight of these events, HKTDC would like to organise an IoT-focused pitching series with strategic partners to help Hong Kong, Chinese mainland and overseas startups looking for funding and partnership with the enterprises. Through this ioT-focused pitching series, we also want to foster cross-border cooperation among IoT-related startups, investors and business partners.
